Opening Gains Maintained

• U.S. Treasuries remain comfortably in the green with most tenors trading near their starting levels. Treasuries added to their gains during the first few minutes of action before revisiting their opening levels with the belly holding the lead. Equities started the day on a firmly higher note, but crude oil has climbed off its overnight low, approaching $89/bbl.
