Small cap stocks are coming along for upside moves, leading the Russell 2000 to trade 0.2% higher. The small cap index has underperformed this week so far, sitting on a 2.5% decline. The S&P 500 is down 1.0% for the week and the Nasdaq Composite shows a 0.7% decline since Friday.
The equal-weighted S&P 500 shows a 1.6% loss this week.
