Many stocks benefit from ongoing buy-the-dip interest

[BRIEFING.COM] The S&P 500 reached a fresh record high, the Nasdaq Composite is about 85 points higher, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average trades about 270 points higher.
Many stocks are participating in upside moves, but mega caps and chipmakers have been influential to index performance. The PHLX Semiconductor Index (SOX) traded down as much as 0.9% at its low, but sports a 0.7% gain now, and the Vanguard Mega Cap Growth ETF (MGK) traded down as much as 0.3%, but shows a 0.4% gain now.
Treasuries are near intraday high yields, but that hasn't deterred buying in the stock market. The 10-yr yield sits at 4.05% and the 2-yr yield sits at 4.00%.
