Lowe's (LOW 260.79, -10.85, -4.0%) has underperformed the broader equity market, sinking 4% after reporting earnings results. Other retailers are also trading lower, leading the SPDR S&P Retailers ETF (XRT) to trade 0.4% lower.
It is the worst performing stock in the S&P 500 consumer discretionary sector (+0.4%), which trades above its prior close thanks to gains in mega cap constituents.
