Oil prices are higher today, continuing recent upside moves. WTI crude oil futures are 1.4% higher at $72.47/bbl. This price action has contributed to buying in the S&P 500 energy sector (+0.7%). Diamondback Energy (FANG 175.97, -3.79, -2.1%) is one of three sector component trading lower after missing earnings estimates.
Exxon Mobil (XOM 118.92, +0.31, +0.3%) and Chevron (CVX 154.00, +0.03, +0.03%) trade higher.
