[BRIEFING.COM] The small cap Russell 2000 is lagging its peers, trading 0.8% lower. The S&P Mid Cap 400 sports a 0.6% decline.
Market breadth is more negative now compared to earlier in the session. Shortly after the open, decliners had a 4-to-3 lead over advancers at the NYSE and a 3-to-2 lead at the Nasdaq. Now, decliners lead advancers by a 2-to-1 margin at both the NYSE and at the Nasdaq.
The Nasdaq Composite has maintain a posture above its prior close in recent action while many stocks moved lower.
