[BRIEFING.COM] The major indices moved mostly sideways in recent action.
Value stocks are leading the market higher while growth stocks lag as money moves away from areas of the market that have outperformed so far this year. The Russell 3000 Growth Index is down 0.2% today, but still 23.8% higher this year. The Russell 3000 Value Index shows a 1.2% gain today, bringing its gain this year to 9.3%.
Elsewhere, oil prices are moving lower today. WTI crude oil futures are down 1.2% to $80.93/bbl.
