Semiconductor stocks are moving higher. The PHLX Semiconductor Index (SOX) is up 0.4% after moving off session lows. TSMC (TSM 174.99, +0.91, +0.5%) is a standout from the space after a Wall Street Journal report that TSMC and Samsung are considering new chip-making facilities in the United Arab Emirates.
NVIDIA (NVDA 116.33, +0.33, +0.3%) is another influential name in the space after trading down as much as 1.0%.
