Intel, Boeing drag DJIA lower to start abbreviated week

[BRIEFING.COM] The Dow Jones Industrial Average (-1.06%) is the shallowest lagging major average on Tuesday afternoon, little changed vs. the prior half hour.
A look inside the DJIA shows that Intel (INTC 20.37, -1.67, -7.58%), Boeing (BA 160.73, -13.01, -7.49%), and Caterpillar (CAT 341.01, -15.09, -4.24%) are underperforming.
Meanwhile, Verizon (VZ 42.92, +1.14, +2.73%) hold the best gains on the day.
Inclusive of today's declines, the DJIA is now +0.55% over the last two weeks (8/19).
