Stocks move off lows after yields decline from highs

Treasury yields moved off intraday highs, which coincided with stocks moving off intraday lows. The 10-yr yield reached 4.78% earlier and sits at 4.74% now.
The overall vibe in the equity market skews strongly negative. Decliners lead advancers by a 9-to-2 margin at the NYSE and by a 7-to-2 margin at the Nasdaq.
