[BRIEFING.COM] The S&P 500 (-0.3%), Nasdaq Composite (-0.2%), and DJIA (-0.3%) have slipped beneath their baselines just after midday.
Sector strength has eroded throughout the session, leaving just three S&P 500 sectors with increasingly modest gains.
The information technology sector (0.1%) now trades just slightly above its baseline after holding gains near 1.0% for much of the morning.
Outside of the S&P 500, the small-cap Russell 2000 (-0.9%) and S&P Mid Cap 400 (-0.4%) underperform as the market displays a "risk-off" disposition.
