[BRIEFING.COM] The Dow Jones Industrial Average (-0.02%) is narrowly lower on Thursday afternoon, down about 8 points.
A look inside the DJIA shows that Merck (MRK 88.44, -1.69, -1.88%), Coca-Cola (KO 65.93, -0.85, -1.27%), and Amgen (AMGN 295.87, -2.63, -0.88%) are underperforming.
Meanwhile, Caterpillar (CAT 487.70, +6.88, +1.43%) is atop the standings.
The DJIA is now +1.41% higher off last week's lows.
