Stock Market Update

[BRIEFING.COM] The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite (+1.6%) maintains an advantage over the S&P 500 (+1.0%) and DJIA (+0.5%) as mega-caps and semiconductors continue to pace today's gains. 

Citigroup (C 100.20, +1.42, +1.44%) and Coinbase Global (COIN 369.19, +14.73, +4.16%) both move higher after confirming their intentions to collaborate on digital asset payment capabilities for Citi's institutional clients and explore additional global clients in the future, further solidifying both companies' market leadership in payment solutions. 

The financials sector (+0.3%) is one of four S&P 500 sectors that trades in positive territory but is not driving the index-level gains. Robinhood Markets (HOOD 147.20, +7.41, +5.30%) is the top performer in the sector, expanding upon recent strength after CICC initiated coverage on the stock with an Outperform and a target price of $155.
