Stock Market Update

A handful of corporate news items are sending equity futures higher this morning as the stock market looks to expand its push into record territory. 

Shares of Advanced Micro Devices (AMD 222.57, +57.90, +35.2%) continue to surge following news that the company will partner with OpenAI on a 6-gigawatt agreement to power OpenAI's next-gen AI infrastructure across multiple generations of AMD Instinct GPUs. 

Semiconductor names have started October on a strong note, with the PHLX Semiconductor Index already holding a 3.4% month-to-date gain. 

Meanwhile, Tesla (TSLA 440.75, +10.92, +2.5%) leads the mega-cap cohort in the pre-market after teasing an event tomorrow on social media.
