The information technology sector (+0.2%) now holds just a modest gain for the day, with the PHLX Semiconductor Index (-0.3%) now in negative territory.
Mega-caps are also seeing waning buying interest as the session progresses. The Vanguard Mega Cap Growth ETF is down 0.1%, with Tesla (TSLA 447.95, -5.30, -1.17%) and Alphabet (GOOG 248.86, -2.64, -1.05%) holding the widest losses among the "magnificent seven" names.
