[BRIEFING.COM] The Dow Jones Industrial Average (+0.29%) hosts the shallowest advance at midweek, up about 137 points.
A look inside the DJIA shows that Caterpillar (CAT 506.03, +19.32, +3.97%), Cisco (CSCO 70.20, +1.21, +1.76%), and NVIDIA (NVDA 188.20, +3.16, +1.71%) are among today's top gain getters.

Elsewhere, U.S. Treasuries have slipped to fresh lows after spending the past couple hours in a sideways range. Treasuries dipped from their starting levels in morning action, but the pressure abated shortly after shorter tenors turned negative for the day. The market has seen some more selling in recent trade, after the U.S. Treasury's $39 bln 10-yr note reopening met weak demand. The sale drew a high yield of 4.117%, which tailed the when-issued yield by 0.3 basis points while the bid-to-cover ratio (2.48x vs 2.58x average) and indirect takedown (66.8% vs 70.9% average) were below average.
