Blackstone (BX 145.64, +2.22, +1.54%) trades higher after Bloomberg announced that the company is nearing a $4 billion deal to acquire utility-parts maker MacLean Power Systems.
On the trade front, the USTR extended 178 China tariff exclusions to November 2026 following the trade deal that was announced November 1.
