Stock Market Update

[BRIEFING.COM] The S&P 500 (+0.2%), Nasdaq Composite (+0.7%), and DJIA (-0.3%) continue to steadily rise from early session lows. 

While the health care sector (-0.3%) is near the middle of the pack for sector performance, it is home to both one of the best and worst performing S&P names today. 

IDEXX Labs (IDXX 716.66, +87.15, +13.84%) trades sharply higher after beating top-and-bottom line estimates and guiding FY25 EPS and revenue above consensus. 

Meanwhile, Moderna (MRNA 25.34, -1.82, -6.72%) moves lower. Last Thursday, the stock gained nearly 14% amid speculation of a buyout, though the stock lost 3.5% in Friday's trade.
