Stock Market Update

[BRIEFING.COM] The S&P 500 (+0.9%), Nasdaq Composite (+1.2%), and DJIA (+0.6%) steadily tick higher as the session progresses. 

Homebuilder stocks are under pressure following KB Home's (KBH 56.90, -5.84, -9.31%) earnings report, which saw the company beat top-and-bottom line estimates but saw a 9% decrease in homes delivered. 

Lennar (LEN 106.32, -2.00, -1.85%) was a laggard earlier in the week after an earnings miss, while D.R. Horton (DHI 146.65, -4.75, -3.14%) and PulteGroup (PHM 118.62, -3.04, -2.50%) also trail today. The iShares U.S. Home Construction ETF is down 2.2% today and 4.1% for the week.
