Stock Market Update

The underlying vibe in the market remains positive while losses in the mega cap space limit movement at the index level. Meta Platforms (META 716.58, -20.08, -2.47%), Apple (AAPL 244.48, -0.12, -0.1%), and Amazon (AMZN 224.56, -4.12, -1.8%) are influential losers in the space. 

Losses in the aforementioned names have contributed to declines in the S&P 500 communication services (-1.3%) and consumer discretionary (-1.0%) sectors, and limited gains in the technology sector (+0.4%).

The tech sector has received some offsetting support from NVIDIA (NVDA 140.19, +1.34, +1.0%).
