Choppy action continues as Treasury yields move up

[BRIEFING.COM] The index-level volatility has continued over the last half hour. The S&P 500 trades about 15 points higher and the Nasdaq Composite trades about 45 points higher.
Market breadth was positive earlier, but shows more mixed action now. Shortly after the open, advancers led decliners by a 3-to-2 margin at the NYSE and by an 11-to-10 margin at the Nasdaq. Now, advancers are roughly even with decliners at the NYSE while decliners have a fractional lead over advancers at the Nasdaq.
The price action in Treasuries has contributed to the choppy action in equities. The 10-yr yield hit 4.42% earlier, but moved up to 4.46% as the session has progressed.
