[BRIEFING.COM] The S&P 500 (+0.7%) is off to a higher start, trading a bit behind the Nasdaq (+0.9%), but ahead of the Dow (+0.1%).
Seven out of eleven sectors are among the early advancer with technology (+1.1%) holding the lead, thanks in part to solid quarterly results from NVIDIA (NVDA 141.68, +6.87, +5.2%). Real estate (+1.0%) and the consumer discretionary sector (+0.7%) also outperform while industrials (-0.1%) and communication services (-0.1%) lag.
Treasuries are extending their rebound off opening lows with the 10-yr yield now down four basis points at 4.44%.
