[BRIEFING.COM] The S&P 500 (flat) and the Nasdaq Composite (-0.2%) moved lower over the last half hour.
The deterioration coincided with Treasury Secretary Bessent saying in his testimony before the House that talks with China are just beginning, adding that White House trade advisor Navarro will not be involved.
Treasuries are little changed. The 10-yr yield is at 4.28% and the 2-yr yield is at 3.80%.
