Unlike yesterday, the market has seen broad-based strength in the early going of today's session with nine out of eleven sectors holding gains at this time, though no sector is up more than 0.9% in the early going.
Materials (+1.0%) and industrials (+0.9%) have set the early pace while consumer staples (-0.2%) and real estate (-1.0%) are seeing a continuation of yesterday's underperformance.
Treasuries hover a bit below their early highs with the 10-yr yield down two basis points at 4.27%.
