[BRIEFING.COM] The Dow Jones Industrial Average (+1.12%) is firmly in first place on Friday afternoon.
A look inside the DJIA shows that Nike (NKE 72.04, +9.50, +15.19%), Boeing (BA 211.41, +8.83, +4.36%), and American Express (AXP 319.12, +7.70, +2.47%) hold some of today's best gains.
Meanwhile, Chevron (CVX 143.57, -0.87, -0.60%) is underperforming.
The DJIA is now poised to end the week +3.94% higher.
Elsewhere, at the top of the hour, Baker Hughes (BKR 38.12, -0.20, -0.52%) announced a weekly U.S. rotary rig count of 547, -7 w/w and -34 yr/yr.
