[BRIEFING.COM] The major averages rebounded from session lows after President Trump stated, "we are not planning anything," when asked about his potential firing of Fed Chair Powell in the press conference section of a meeting with the Prime Minister of Bahrain.
President Trump also stated, "I don't rule out anything, but it is highly unlikely," when asked directly if he is no longer considering the move.
The major averages are now hovering near their unchanged levels, after a notable dip occurred following initial reports that the President will likely fire the Fed Chair soon.
