[BRIEFING.COM] The stock market quickly rebounded from its modest opening losses with the S&P 500 unchanged after the first half-hour of trading.
The top weighted technology sector (+0.4%) opened to gains after yesterday's weak performance (-1.2%), as Apple (AAPL 212.65, +4.83, +2.33%) continues to rally after announcing the company seeks to use outside AI to revamp its Siri.
Despite a weak ADP Employment Change Report for June, the consumer discretionary sector (+0.1%) opened to a modest again despite a weakened sales report from Tesla (TSLA 306.64, +5.93, +1.97%).
