Stock Market Update

The energy sector (+2.2%) is today's best performer, with top components Exxon Mobil (XOM 113.56, +2.46, +2.2%), Chevron (CVX 151.41, +4.01, +2.7%), and ConocoPhillips (COP 95.92, +3.37, +3.7%) capturing notable gains.

Exxon Mobil was down in pre-market trading after the company provided guidance on items that it expects to impact its Q2 results, but has risen in tandem with other oil stocks as crude oil prices have increased by $0.49 to $68.42 per barrel today.

Additionally, President Trump signed an Executive Order to eliminate subsidies for "green" energy sources like wind and solar "in furtherance of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act."
