President Trump has told European leaders that land swaps will be needed to end the war in Ukraine, with the president seeking a ceasefire following his Friday summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to Axios.

The Wall Street Journal reports that Walmart (WMT 101.70, -1.92, -1.85%) will extend its 10% employee discount to all grocery purchases. A weak performance in the stock so far contributes to a 0.5% loss in the consumer staples sector, making it the worst-performing S&P 500 sector at this juncture. 

Elsewhere, the information technology sector (-0.2%) enters negative territory as shares of NVIDIA (NVDA 180.34, -2.82, -1.54%) continue to trade lower.
