[BRIEFING.COM] The major averages have pulled back from their session highs but still maintain the bulk of their early advances.

While this week's batch of earnings reports is much lighter compared to prior weeks, there are still some stocks making notable moves today in response to earnings.

CAVA Group (CAVA 71.30, -13.20, -15.62%) trades sharply lower after beating EPS expectations by $0.02 but missing on revenue expectations. The company's Q2 results showed sharply slower same-store sales growth and a lowered full-year comp forecast.

CoreWeave (CRWV 125.44, -23.31, -15.67%) holds a similar loss after delivering its second quarterly earnings report since its March 28 IPO, facing lofty expectations fueled by a 43% stock surge in August. The stock is down sharply as the revenue beat of 12% versus analysts' estimates fell short of the prior quarter's 15% outperformance, and ongoing profitability concerns, driven by a high debt load and widened losses, prompted investors to reassess the company's near-term trajectory.
