[BRIEFING.COM] The S&P 500 (-0.1%) and DJIA (-0.3%) hold modest losses, while the Nasdaq Composite trades on its flatline. 

The communication services sector (+0.3%) is the top advancing S&P 500 sector, benefitting from slight gains in its mega-cap components Alphabet (GOOG 203.55, +0.52, +0.26%) and Meta Platforms (META 782.47, +2.39, +0.31%), while Netflix (NFLX 1233.02, +28.58, +2.37%) is one of the top-performing stocks within the S&P 500 today.

In the geopolitical sphere, CNN reports that President Trump and Russian President Putin will hold a joint press conference after their summit tomorrow, though the anticipated summit has done little to move the market so far.
