In corporate news, Lyft (LYFT 23.04, +2.86, +14.14%) trades sharply higher today following an announcement that the company will partner with Waymo to bring the company's fully autonomous ride-hailing service to Nashville in 2026.
Direct competitor Uber (UBER 93.57, -4.26, -4.35%) trades lower today, though the headline has not yet prompted any gains in Waymo's parent company, Alphabet (GOOG 250.55, -0.87, -0.35%).
