FCX falls sharply as investors react to a mud rush incident at its Grasberg mine, which is expected to slash near-term copper and gold production, delay a full restart until 2027, and significantly weigh on 2026 output, while AXON dips despite getting an Overweight initiation out of Piper Sandler overnight
Meanwhile, Mosaic (MOS 35.93, +1.96, +5.77%) is outperforming alongside other fertilizer peers.
