[BRIEFING.COM] Today's performance has the Dow Jones Industrial Average (+0.78%) atop the major averages, up more than 359 points.
A look inside the DJIA shows that Boeing (BA 222.50, +8.97, +4.20%), IBM (IBM 288.55, +7.11, +2.53%), and Travelers (TRV 277.38, +3.16, +1.15%) hold solid gains.
Meanwhile, Cisco (CSCO 67.31, -0.54, -0.80%) is underperforming.
Thanks to Friday's gains, the DJIA is. poised to end the week nearly flat after being down about -1.14% at yesterday's lows.
Elsewhere, at the top of the hour, Baker Hughes (BKR 50.66, +0.56, +1.12%) announced a weekly U.S. rotary rig count of 549, +7 w/w and -38 yr/yr.
