Stock Market Update

[BRIEFING.COM] Strength in the market's largest names continues to lift the S&P 500 (+0.4%) and Nasdaq Composite (+0.9%) higher, while the DJIA wrestles with its flatline.

The Vanguard Mega Cap Growth ETF is up 0.8%, boosted by a nice gain in NVIDIA (NVDA 182.64, +4.45, +2.50%). At this juncture, Apple (AAPL 254.04, -1.42, -0.56%) is the only "magnificent seven" name to hold a loss. 

The market-weighted S&P 500 (+0.4%) outperforms the S&P 500 Equal Weighted Index (+0.1%) as a result. 

Meanwhile, the small-cap Russell 2000 (+0.2%) holds a modest gain, while the S&P Mid Cap 400 (-0.2%) lags.
