[BRIEFING.COM] The S&P 500 (-0.4%), Nasdaq Composite (-0.3%), and DJIA (-0.8%) trade near session lows as the market enters the final hour of the session.
The information technology sector (-0.4%) is back in squarely negative territory, which weighs on the major averages. Salesforce (CRM 242.85, -16.55, -6.38%) and Super Micro Computer (SMCI 28.36, -1.76, -5.86%) are among the worst performing S&P 500 names today.
Meanwhile, Moderna (MRNA 39.21, +5.37, +15.87%) is the S&P 500's nest performer by a wide margin today. CNBC reports that CEO Stephane Bancel projects the company's 2025 sales to come in around $1.9 billion, which is above the midpoint of early guidance.
