S&P 500 Slides Nearly 2% as Tech and Travel Lag, Albemarle Rallies on Upgrade

[BRIEFING.COM] The S&P 500 (-1.95%) is in second place on Tuesday afternoon, down 135 points.

Briefly, S&P 500 constituents NetApp (NTAP 95.16, -8.68, -8.36%), Dell (DELL 111.94, -8.06, -6.72%), and Norwegian Cruise Line (NCLH 20.58, -1.43, -6.50%) dot the bottom of the standings. NTAP is lower after Morgan Stanley downgraded to Underweight citing weakest hardware budget growth in 15 years and rising cost pressures, while DELL target was cut at Citi and Morgan Stanley, and NCLH was added to JPMorgan's Analyst Focus List.

Meanwhile, Albemarle (ALB 170.20, +7.16, +4.39%) is one of today's top performers, rising after HSBC upgraded the stock to Buy on lithium price rebound and improving cash flow.
