[BRIEFING.COM] The major averages are little changed from previous levels shortly after midday.

The health care sector (-0.8%) is now one of the worst-performing S&P 500 sectors today. Moderna (MRNA 48.76, -3.11, -6.00%) leads the weakness, facing a consolidation after the stock surged earlier in the week after the company announced promising 5-year results for its melanoma vaccine.

Elsewhere, medical specialty names are also under pressure.  Incyte (INCY 100.62, -4.44, -4.23%) is a laggard after Wells Fargo downgraded the stock to Equal Weight from Overweight, with a target price of $107.
