The S&P 500 futures currently trade points below fair value as investors monitor a relatively quiet morning of corporate news.
Monetary policy will once again come into focus this week with the release of the September FOMC minutes on Wednesday. The FOMC voted unanimously to raise the Fed funds target range by 25 basis points, though recent Fed commentary and economic data have decreased expectations for another hike in October.
Currently, the CME FedWatch tool assigns a 19.4% probability to another hike at the October meeting, which is down from 70.9% one week ago.
