Stock Market Update

[BRIEFING.COM] The major averages continue to trade in a relatively tight range below their baselines. 

The industrial sector (+0.7%) is one of just four S&P 500 sectors that trades higher this morning. 

Deere (DE 658.74, +65.47, +11.04%) leads the advance and is among the best-performing S&P 500 components after topping earnings estimates. 

Meanwhile, aerospace and defense names such as Huntington Ingalls (HII 437.21, +12.32, +2.90%) and Lockheed Martin (LMT 667.30, +17.49, +2.69%) are posting solid gains amid escalating tensions between the U.S. and Iran. The iShares DJ Aerospace ETF is up 1.2%.
