[BRIEFING.COM] The major averages remain little changed from previous levels, on course for a lower close that negates the bulk of yesterday's strength. Currently, the S&P 500 (-0.5%) is still up 0.2% for the week and sits on its flatline year-to-date.
Geopolitical tensions between the U.S. and Iran remain high, with The Washington Post reporting this afternoon that President Trump appears ready to order an attack on Iran.
