Stock Market Update

[BRIEFING.COM] The S&P 500 (+0.6%), Nasdaq Composite (+1.1%), and DJIA (+0.2%) are charting session highs. 

Mega-caps are putting together solid performances that are boosting the major averages. Alphabet (GOOG 314.80, +11.24, +3.70%) is a standout, moving into positive territory for the week after announcing a partnership with Zillow (ZG 46.14, +0.60, +1.33%).

Meta Platforms (META 662.28, +17.50, +2.71%) is not far behind, and combined with Alphabet's strength, the communication services sector is up a sturdy 2.9%. 

Meanwhile, Amazon's (AMZN 210.71, +5.85, +2.86%) stock has reacted encouragingly to the Supreme Court ruling against President Trump's IEEPA tariffs, while NVIDIA (NVDA 190.07, +2.17, +1.15%) also sports a nice gain. 

All told, the Vanguard Mega Cap Growth ETF is up 1.2%.
