[BRIEFING.COM] The S&P 500 (+1.0%), Nasdaq Composite (+1.5%), and DJIA (+0.7%) have moved off their best levels of the session, though they remain firmly higher.
The industrials sector (+1.2%) has recovered the bulk of its previous weakness after finishing as the worst-performing S&P 500 sector yesterday. Strength is broad, but engineering and construction names such as Comfort Systems (FIX 1323.03, +49.85, +3.92%) and electrical component names, including GE Vernova (GEV 843.33, +25.98, +3.18%), are among the best performers after lagging yesterday.
