Stock Market Update

[BRIEFING.COM] The S&P 500 (+0.4%), Nasdaq Composite (+0.2%), and DJIA (+0.7%) are off their session highs as mega-cap and tech names face some late-session selling.

The communication services sector (-0.8%) is at session lows as Alphabet (GOOG 379.48, -4.00, -1.04%) makes a move lower, with the Vanguard Mega Cap Growth ETF (+0.2%) now just modestly higher.

Additionally, the information technology sector (+0.5%) has steadily moved lower throughout the afternoon. Strength in the sector remains broad, but NVIDIA (NVDA 215.63, -3.88, -1.77%) has yet to garner any buy-the-dip interest as it moves lower following earnings.
