[BRIEFING.COM] Stocks continue to drift shortly after midday, with the S&P 500 (+0.1%) and Nasdaq Composite (+0.1%) back in slightly positive territory while the DJIA (+0.4%) holds a firmer gain.
President Trump, speaking at the G7 conference, said that if a more permanent deal is not signed after the 60-day memorandum of understanding expires, Iran will face renewed military action from the U.S. The commentary has had little effect on oil prices, with WTI crude currently up $0.82 (+1.1%) to $76.09 per barrel.
