Crude oil futures settled today's session $1.34 higher (+1.7%) at $82.40 per barrel, keeping the energy sector (+1.5%) firmly atop the S&P 500's sector standings today despite a lack of news regarding the conflict in the Middle East. Crude oil finished the week roughly 5% higher.
