Stock Market Update

Equity futures continue to point to a mixed opening this morning, with mega-cap and semiconductor stocks putting the Nasdaq Composite on track for the strongest open as the market enters the back half of a productive August.

Both groups have outperformed so far this month, with the PHLX Semiconductor Index up nearly 10% month-to-date, while the Vanguard Mega Cap Growth ETF is up 5%.
