[BRIEFING.COM] The major averages continue to chart session lows this morning, as semiconductor stocks pull back from their early highs.
Skyworks (SWKS 87.35, +8.09, +10.21%) remains the best-performing S&P 500 component, though the PHLX Semiconductor Index (+0.4%) holds just a portion of its earlier gain that neared 2%.
The index is down 5.4% week-to-date, which moves it into negative month-to-date territory (-3.0%) and further below its 50-day moving average, which was violated last week.
