Coherent (COHR 308.28, +26.42, +9.37%) and Corning (GLW 169.68, +15.38, +9.97%) are among the other outperformers, while Intel (INTC 105.23, +9.43, +9.84%) remains a standout amid positive analyst commentary and reports of possible price increases. The PHLX Semiconductor Index is up 2.2%, extending its month-to-date gain for September to 4%.
